2017 Audi R8 Exterior and Interior Review – Audi R8 began as a racing test mule at the Lemans in 2000 winning in its first entry. Following five years, it built the record of championing the Lemans in a continuous row. Production started in 2008, showing Audi R8 could create a streamlined, mid-engine car with the appearance and stance of a sports car. Now, German carmaker is bringing the next generation Audi R8 as a 2017 model with a lot of engineering testing done on its Modular platform which is used for a sports car.
2017 Audi R8 Exterior and Interior Review
Car enthusiasts have been waiting for a new generation of 2017 Audi R8. Audi R8 has been a famous car manufacturer known all over the world. Today, they are working hard to satisfy their fans. They are releasing their next generation of Audi R8 to the market. At the first glance, the car is full of the aluminum frame. This car will be more lightweight than the previous version as they will reduce 110 pounds of weight. In the terms of stiffness, they will improve it up to 40%. If you want to look for further information about the new Audi R8 2017, you can read some reviews about the exterior, interior, drivetrain, and many others.
People will give an opinion about a car mostly for its appearance. This new version of 2017 Audi R8 Exterior and Interior Review also satisfies people’s preference of a luxurious car. This one will be as timeless as before. Yet, there are some improvements made in the 2017 Audi R8 including the addition creases and edges. Perhaps some people won’t like its blocky ambience at the front part of the car. The side of this car resembles the theme of a blade. If you look at the back of this car, you might find a resemblance of Lamborghini. In the terms of graphics, the car has fulfilled its basic proportions of a supercar.

Up front the changes include a larger hexagonal grille with a bolder outline and a mesh insert, while the air intakes on the edges of the bumpers are shrunken and now have vertical slats. The headlights also got a mild tweak, as their edges are now straight instead of having the subtle curve that the 2015 model had. Additionally, the European market gets the new laser high-beam headlights that use a camera system to detect oncoming traffic and adjust the beam for ideal distribution. Unfortunately, the NHTSA has yet to approve them for use in the U.S.
Another key change is the elimination of the vertical contrast stripe just above the rear air intake. This is one change that I am all for, but it’s not revolutionary.Around back, the 2017 Audi R8 gets lightly revised taillights with new graphics underlined by new rear grilles with mesh inserts. The tailpipes also gain a trapezoidal shape in place of the old circular units, and the diffuser spanning the gap between the tailpipes is revised.
Where there are some pretty significant changes are in the numbers, specifically curb weight. The 2017 Audi R8 Plus checks in at just 3,428 pounds, which is up to 110 pounds less than the 2017 Audi A3 Review model. This weight loss is thanks to a new multi-material lightweight construction that includes an 2017 Audi R8 Exterior and Interior Review space frame that weighs only 441 pounds. The body is made up of CFRP B-pillars, central tunnel, and rear wall. TheAudi R8 front end is made of aluminum, as is the roof arch and the rear section of the frame. Despite the weight loss, the new Audi R8 is approximately 40 percent more rigid than the 2015 model. There is no mention of the weight savings in the base Audi R8, but I assume it is roughly the same.
2017 Audi R8 Interior
Aside from the amazing exterior of the new Audi R8 2017, you must see its inner part. While some people aren’t really satisfied with its exterior, the interior design of this car is quite jaw-dropping. There will be a spacious room inside, especially for the driver. There’s also ample room at the back where you can store some items. This car includes a modern dashboard with astonishing technology and infotainment. The interior design is quite alike to 2017 Audi TT Redesign, Review. Yet, the style and material are different. The 2017 Audi R8 has the superiority in the term of comfort and interior design.
Part of the revamp of the 2017 Audi R8 is an all-new interior. It’s a fully modern look that harmonizes the Audi R8 with Audi’s other newest offerings. There’s a surprising amount of room for the two occupants the Audi R8 can hold, with plentiful legroom and enough headroom for taller drivers to sit upright without their hair touching the roof. That roof, however, meets the windshield lower than you might expect, causing everyone to have to dip their heads and bend their necks to see stoplights at intersections. Outward visibility is not the Audi R8 strongest attribute.
The version I drove was an Audi R8 Plus, which comes standard with something new for 2017: rigid racing shell seats. They adjust fore and aft and have electronic height adjustment, but they do not bend or recline; the seatbacks are rigidly locked to the seat bottoms. Thankfully, the angle they’re set at wasn’t uncomfortable for me, but the lack of lumbar or bolstering adjustment was notable.
These seats are made for someone very narrow of waist and derriere; anyone more normal-sized will want to either opt for the less-powerful, less-frenetic regular 2017 Audi R8 Exterior and Interior Review and its far more adjustable seats or spring for the diamond-quilted leather package in the Plus, which brings back the adjustable seats in place of the racing shells. Materials quality throughout the car shows a massive upgrade. One of our biggest complaints about the old Audi R8 was that its interior didn’t match its price tag, but there’s no such issue with the 2017 model. It looks and feels exotic and well-made, with an artistry to its shapes and forms that was lacking in the cold, mechanical previous model.
2017 Audi R8 Release Date and Price
In the terms of release date and price, Audi R8 car manufacturer hasn’t provided official information. Rumor has it, the new Audi R8 2017 will hit the United States market in the spring (probably March) 2016. It will be a real competitor against some cars in the same class. There’s information that suggests the car will be at least 165,999 Euros. The better version of this car, 2017 Audi R8, will cost you 187,000 Euros. Overall, you need to wait for the next updates about this car. There will be commotion when the care hits the street at the first time.
